Redesigning insurers' operating systems with AI.

AI-fueled hyper calculations to evolve finance

Why HyperCal

  1. An environment where actuaries focus on what matters

Repetitive calculations and system constraints have long consumed actuaries' time. HyperCal absorbs this technical load into the system, so actuaries can spend more time on their core role: designing value and making judgments.

  2. Actuarial knowledge as an organizational asset

HyperCal moves actuarial logic, once locked in individual experience and scattered tools, into an asset the whole organization can see and carry forward. Even as people change roles, the assumptions and reasoning behind every judgment stay with the organization.

  3. Simulation that responds to change

For too long, the period-end close has been about confirming what has already happened. HyperCal looks ahead, reflecting interest-rate movements and emerging risks as they happen and simulating their impact before it lands. Beyond the close, leadership gains a clear basis for decisions, even under uncertainty.

What We Build

  • One connected actuarial workflow

HyperCal connects actuarial work, long fragmented across disparate tools and manual steps, into a single workflow. From data ingestion to integration with existing systems, every step flows into the next, reducing repetitive work and the errors that come with it.

  • High-performance computation without the wait

While actuaries focus on the business logic, the system accelerates computation through optimizations tailored to the execution environment. The goal is to run even heavy scenario analysis and large-scale period-end closes without delay.

  • Governance and traceability

The data, assumptions, and code used in each model are version-controlled, and their sources and flow are traced. Transparency is a design principle, so the rationale can be re-verified and supervisory examinations can be addressed.
